Granulator Screen Manufacturing

Granulators and shredders are commonly used in polymer recycling to reduce the size of plastic waste for further processing.

At EE Ingleton, we manufacture granulated screens to customer’s specifications. Our onsite manufacturing means we can work with our customers to adapt the screen design to suit their specific needs.

Custom Granulator Screens

As well as making standard screens, we also produce many custom-fit screens for customers with modified, or non-standard machines.

Thanks to our state-of-the-art machinery we can change hole size, shape, pattern, and open area to suit customer requirements.

In order to support our customer’s requirements, we are also able to produce screens in advance of the requirement for use on a call-off order basis to avoid downtime and delays caused by unexpected screen breakage, e.g. due to contaminated product.

Types of Granulator Screens

We supply our extended-life industrial screens for most types of granulating machines used in tyre processing, and polymer granulating, as well as for wood waste and green waste processing machines.

We manufacture granulator screens for most common machine types including:

Durable Through Hardened Screens

Traditionally, granulator screens and other industrial screens are manufactured from mild steel to provide a cost-effective solution for a variety of screening applications.

Turbo Drier screens for types such as Herbold have been manufactured in stainless steel. Where extended wear life is required for use in arduous conditions, we can produce through-hardened screens in various grades of Chrome-Boron steel and wear plate steel grades.

Brinell 400, Brinell 450 and Brinell 500

We can offer screens laser profiled in ‘standard’ hardened wear plate steels in the Brinell 400 range, or ‘high’ grade in the Brinell 450 and 500 hardness ranges.

Brinell 500+

We offer through hardened chrome-boron steel screens in the Brinell 500+ hardness range for certain applications.

Cost Effective

These chrome boron steel screens are punched & fabricated before hardening and tempering, resulting in our best-performing and most cost-effective product for high wear-rate applications. This capability has the potential to significantly alter the cost/life ratio of screen products, meaning that hardened screens can become cost-effective in applications where high costs were previously prohibitive.

Granulator Screen Grades

As well as through hardened chrome boron, we can also offer screens in various grades, as detailed below. We can also supply screens in highly corrosion-resistant screens in duplex and super-duplex alloys.
