Future Proofing

EE Ingleton Engineering is a leading UK manufacturer of custom perforated panels, industrial screen products, and animal feed milling wear parts and spares.

In more recent times, they have expanded into the architectural metalwork sector. As a high-energy consumer, they had already looked at ways to improve their plant equipment, investing heavily in this over the last decade.

Knowledge Is Power

Clamping FourJaw’s technology to their machines gave invaluable data to inform decisions.

They were looking to replace a compressor and a gas boiler in a couple of year’s time. That decision was brought forward after the data showed how much energy those machines were actually using.

Terry Lee explains, “A new compressor costs 20k and uses half the electricity than the old one. The investment will pay for itself in 12 months.”

Opening New Avenues

Thanks to the mentor relationship, PEPGB has been able to impart its knowledge and expertise to EE Ingleton, particularly by pointing them to new funding sources they were previously unaware of.

“While energy wasn’t unimportant, it wasn’t the most important thing for us. Covid, the Ukraine crisis, and knowing your electricity bill will quadruple, sharpens the mind to what you should be looking at.” Terry Lee, Managing Director, EE Ingleton.
